Last 18th April, Our Italian partner CEIPES visited the Maria Montessori Institute in Alcamo, Sicily, for testing with teachers and education professionals one of the main results of our “GAMEDUCATE – Gamification in School Education” project: the online toolkit. This represents a fundamental step, since teachers’ feedback and insights are one of the most valuable resources when it comes to projects targeted to the educational sector.
The online platform -developed through the joint efforts of the entire project’s consortium- provides teachers with 9 modules covering very diverse topics related with the use of gamification and digital tools for educational purposes. All of the modules combine theoretical explanations with tips for practical implementation and ideas of activities and tools that can be used during lessons. This way, in line with the GAMEDUCATE project’s objectives, the platform represents a tool for supporting teachers’ continuous professional growth and formation.
In the encounter in Alcamo, Maria Montessori Institute’s teachers had the opportunity of being the first users to test the platform in first person, exploring the content and providing CEIPES with their valuable insights. This feedback will be fundamental for the enriching of the toolkit, which is freely available to the public. The nine modules will be freely available in 7 languages: English, Italian, French, Spanish, Greek, German and slovenian.
If you want to discover them, follow the GAMEDUCATE project and stay tuned!
