The 10th of June, our Italian partner, CEIPES, organized an insightful online workshop under the Erasmus+ project, GAMEDUCATE, which aims to support teachers’ continuous training and formation by focusing on the benefits of new technologies and new teaching methods.
This dynamic event brought together a diverse group of teachers and educators from Italy. Variety of ages, origins and backgrounds from participants, added a great value to this encounter.
The main topic of this formative session was the use of new digital tools and innovative methodologies, such as gamification and game-based learning. Thus, the aim of the workshop was to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively integrate these modern techniques and tools into their teaching practices. For doing so, the sessions covered a range of topics, including the theoretical foundations of gamification, practical applications in the classroom, and strategies for overcoming common challenges. Furthermore, throughout the workshop, participants engaged in hands-on activities and collaborative discussions.
The success of this workshop marks a promising step forward in the adoption of gamification and digital tools in education. CEIPES remains committed to promoting these innovative techniques, continuing to support educators in their journey towards creating more dynamic and interactive classrooms.
